Ana Hernández, Universidad Complutense de Madrid
Ana Hernández is a PhD student at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid, her research focuses on the Romanesque Bibles of San Isidoro de León and San Millán de la Cogolla and their connection with the 960 Leonese Bible. She has enjoyed predoctoral scholarships from the Xunta de Galicia and the Ministry of Education of Spain, as well as an ARTES Coll & Cortés scholarship for PhD students. She has been a short term research fellow at the Courtauld Institute of Art and the Warbug Institute (London), and has participated in several national and international seminars and conferences such as the Courtauld Medieval Postgraduate Colloquium, the International Medieval Congress in Leeds or the Medieval Hispanic Research Colloquium at Queen Mary. She has also published papers on Romanesque Spanish manuscript illustration and medieval historiography. |
