Francisco de Asís García, Universidad Complutense de Madrid
Francisco de Asís García García is completing his Ph.D. dissertation at Complutense University in Madrid on the beginnings of Romanesque art in Aragon and its relation to the Gregorian Reform and the Aragonese Monarchy. He has enjoyed pre-doctoral scholarships from Complutense University in Madrid and the Ministry of Education of Spain. He has been a short term research fellow at the Centre d’Études Supérieures de Civilisation Médiévale (Poitiers), the Groupe d’Anthropologie Historique de l’Occident Médiéval (EHESS – CNRS), and the Institut National d’Histoire de l’Art (Paris). He has published several articles on Romanesque sculpture of the Cathedral of Jaca and participated in international seminars and conferences at Queen Mary – University of London, the École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales in Paris, or the International Medieval Congress at the University of Leeds, in whose previous editions he has organised sessions. |
