Marina Garzón Fernández, University of Santiago de Compostela
Degree in Art History (2011) and a Master in Medieval Studies (2013) by the University of Santiago de Compostela. She has participated in diverse exchange programs expending time at the Ludwig-Maximilian Universität in Munic (2008-2009), Universidad Complutense de Madrid (2009-2010) and Whitworth University at Spokane WA (2010-2011). She dedicated her Master’s Thesis to the lost portal of the church of San Vicente de Frías (Burgos), and is currently writing her Ph.D. under the direction of Prof. Dr. Rocío Sánchez Ameijeiras under the title “Imágenes de una villa regia: Toro (Zamora) (1250-1350)”. She has also worked on the art of writing with scissors as published in “Los escritos de tijeras: el arte de la caligrafía sin tinta” in Funciones y Prácticas de la Escritura, Escalona, 2013. |
