Rebecca Swanson, Universitat de Barcelona
3rd year PhD student in the Art History department of the University of Barcelona, funded by the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sports of the Spanish Government (FPU fellowship). Member of the Research Institute on Medieval Studies (IRCVM) from the University of Barcelona, and the research group Ars Picta directed by Dr. Milagros Guardia. My main research topics are medieval art history, illuminated manuscripts, medieval iconography, romanesque art and Christian liturgy. I have internationally given lectures concerning my thesis “Iconographic traditions of the manuscripts from Ribagorça in the 10-12th century and their transmission on the monumental arts” in several congresses and seminars, such as Leeds, Barcelona or Rabat.
